I was driving home from work and a small white kitten was in the middle of the road. I stopped and carried the kitten to the side of the road and off the hot pavement. It ran back onto the road. With no houses around, I decided I’d better bring the baby home or it would get run over.

We took the kitten to the vet, got some meds and shots for it. She thought the kitten was 8 to 10 weeks old and maybe not have the best hearing.

Since he has been temporarily at BFF, he needed a good food name, hence — Coconut. He needs a long term, permanent home as we have family who are allergic to cats. And, Fettle won’t have anything to do with sharing space with Coconut.

Coconut has become very playful.
