Celosia
One of the showy plants that flourishes in BFF’s heat and humidity is celosia.
Amanda has mastered placement of the plants as they love full sun with at least six hours of sunlight and slightly acidic or alkaline soil. Part of the Amaranth family, with the most common species known as cockscomb or woolflowers, Celosia grows tall, spiky flowers, dense feathery plumes, and bizarre brain-shaped blooms in vibrant colors. We have Celosia in pink, red, yellow, coral, and deep orange. Celosia doesn’t come back each year and tiny, pepper-looking seeds must be planted each spring.
